Sniper Guard Hookman enemy in the game categorized as Brutal which includes Hookman, Sniper Guard Hookman and Organ Grinder Hookman.
Sniper Guard Hookman[]
A different type of enemy very similar to the regular Hookman that also only dwells within the Asylum. Sniper Guard Hookmen are not as common as their standard Hookmen counterparts but are often encountered guarding entrances or various items. They wear black masks, white shirts, black gloves and boots with buckles on them & are always stained with blood.
As their name suggests these enemies utilize a sniper rifle and can fire at Shadow Man from surprisingly long ranges. Although each bullet can deal a lot of damage Sniper Guard Hookmen are somewhat inaccurate, nevertheless they can be dangerous when encountered in groups or alongside other Hookmen, and in such circumstances they will generally stand their ground and not move closer to the player. They also possess a short-range kick attack that they will use if Shadow Man gets too close.
In the remaster on the horror difficulty, they get several new attacks. If the player gets close, they can shoot a barage of flames. They can also throw grenades, shoot homing bullets and some bullets can even ricochet off of walls.
