Asmodeus is the final boss in Shadow Man: 2econd Coming. He is the leader of the seven Grigori Sephiroth, whom plan to release him from the Pit of Gehenna as the Wormwood Star appears in the sky, bringing about Armageddon.

Cut content from the game reveal that he and Legion are the highest ranked of the Grigori Malakim (angels messengers tasked to enforce the will of God in the Bible, but here Demon Princes implied to be Fallen Angels). Judging from his words, they had a fall-out, likely because Legion wanted to cause the Apocalypse on his own terms.
Thomas Deacon explained that he was the Dragon defeated and sealed away during the Dawn of Times by the Archangel Michael, (while the Biblical Asmodeus is more an enemy of Archangel Raphael). Thus, Michael LeRoi is his successor fated to destroy him once and for all.
Similar to Legion, his mouth and dead eyes are constantly bleeding, while his true form is that of a gigantic and monstrous demonic insect.
